A.
The I.C. Can™ will most likely cost more than a standard beverage
can because it is not a standard can. The expected premium will
be similar to that of the premium consumers pay at a vending
machine compared to the supermarket.

How does the I.C .Can™ work?
A.
The I.C. Can™ works on the simple principal of water evaporation.
When you step out of a swimming pool or the shower, you feel
cool because the water is evaporating off your skin; we use
the same basic principle of evaporation to chill the beverage.
The technology consists of two components: (1) a water gel coated
evaporator built in to the base of the beverage can and (2)
a condenser/absorber at the base of the can, housing a heat
sink and an all-natural desiccant. When activated, the desiccant
contained within a vacuum draws the heat from the beverage through
the evaporator into an insulated heat -sink container. It is
this patented self-contained vacuum-power, which removes heat
from the beverage thereby lowering the temperature dramatically,
quickly and safely without the use of carbon dioxide, CFC, HFC
or any other gases and is totally non-toxic without the risk
of pressurized gas or vapor escape. |

technology is self-contained and requires no external power
or refrigerating source. The can is non-toxic, discharges no

Is there any competition for the I.C. Can™?
A.
Although there have been many attempts and significant media
exposure, we are not aware of any self-refrigerating product
that has been commercially produced and successfully marketed
for mass production. To date no other company has demonstrated
the ability to produce an environmentally safe, commercially
manufacturable and consumer safe, self-refrigerating can.
We are extremely pleased that Crown Holdings, after reviewing
many self-refrigerating technologies has decided to enter
into a partnership with Tempra Technology. Crown has informed
us that their decision was based on Tempra's strong patent
profile and capable team, superior cooling performance as well
key safety and environmental advantages. |

Are the Therapy products durable?
A.
Tempra Wraps are constructed from a durable outer shell, beneath
which is a layer of delsolite (insulation) to direct cold or
heat inward to where the therapy is required. Inside the wraps
are the pack compartments, secured by Velco™. The inner layers
of the wraps are terry cloth to hold moisture, which produces
moist heat and conducts both hot and cold.

Are they available in hot or cold?
A.
Yes. Tempra offers a moistened Tempra Wrap, the pack functions
like a portable hydrocollator©. The gelling packs conform to
the body contours to provide uniform heat or cooling distribution.
The patented TempraSeal™ makes the packs very user-friendly
and provides for a longer shelf life than standard "bag-in-bag"
products.

Can I reuse the Cold Pack?
A.
Tempra Instant Gelling Cold Therapy Packs get colder and stay
colder longer than other instant packs, and after use as an
Instant Cold Pack, they may be reused by placing in a freezer.
